Shaykh Faraz Rabbani explains key lessons on being a champion of truth (a siddiq) from the life of the great companion Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) as part of an ongoing course taught at the Ha Meem College by Dr. Ridhwan Saleem and other distinguished teachers.

Shaykh Faraz highlighted how the great companion Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) exhibited the highest meanings of being a "siddiq", a champion of truth, before the coming of revelation to the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And then throughout the message of the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the very beginning to the very end, right up to the passing of the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Shaykh Faraz uses vivid examples from the life of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) with the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He highlights what is meant by being "truly true", a siddiq, or a champion of truth, and how we can strive to live and embody those meanings in our lives, inspired by the beautiful example of the greatest follower of the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the best human after the prophets, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him).

Shaykh Faraz Rabbani reads and explains Imam Subki's poem of counsel to his son Muhammad on the proper path and etiquettes of seeking Islamic knowledge.

The counsel of Imam Subki is an important work that clarifies what is a sound traditional Islamic understanding of knowledge; how it is sought; and the methodology of learning and knowledge that Muslims should follow. Emphasis is given on the purpose of knowledge; acting upon it; sincerely seeking the pleasure of Allah through it; following the way of the inheritors of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); and manifesting the fruits of knowledge in one’s life–faith, piety, worshipfulness, and excellence of character and conduct.

Shaykh Faraz Rabbani shares a deep insight of Imam al-Shadhili, one of the great spiritual masters, on what it means to seek purity. This is linked to one of the earliest commands revealed to the Prophet ﷺ, "And your garments make pure." The Holy Qur'an, Sura al-Mudather, 74:4.

He explains that there are five garments that Allah bestows on his servants as they excel spiritually:

1. Submission
2. Belief
3. Divine Oneness
4. Knowing Allah
5. Love of Allah
