Shaykh Faraz Rabbani explains the ten qualities or stations of those seeking closeness to Allah. Using the classical work Manazil al-Sa’ireen by Khawaja Abdullah al Ansari of Herat, Shaykh Faraz gives a description of each quality, its basis in the Holy Qur’an and a brief commentary.

The ten qualities are:

1. Resolve (القصد)
2. Determination (العزم)
3. Seeking (الارادة)
4. Proper manners (أدب)
5. Certitude (يقين)
6. Intimacy (أنس)
7. Remembrance (ذكر)
8. Neediness (فقر)
9. Freedom of need (غنى)
10. Station of being sought (مقام المراد)

Having faith in Allah is a true blessing from Allah.In this lecture, Shaykh Faid Muhammad Said explains how there is no limit to how close one can get to Allah.

Shaykh Faraz Rabbani teaches from Imam Munawi's work in complete description of the appearance, character, conduct and habits of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (peace & blessings be upon him & his folk)--al-Rawd al-Basim (the Smiling Garden). This work is based on Imam Tirmidhi's famous work al-Shama'il (the Prophetic Description), but is much more detailed: Tirmidhi's work has slightly more than 400 hadiths; Munawi's text is almost 1,100 hadiths. Habib Ali al-Jifri suggested to Shaykh Faraz that he teach this work
In the first lesson, Shaykh Faraz begins the first chapter, on the Physical Appearance of the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace)

Habib Ali al-Jifri answers a question about the importance of female scholarship in Islam at the SeekersHub in Toronto, Canada. He describes female scholarship as "fulfilling the divine balance".

"Between me and him, there is no other prophet" - saying of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them both

Habib Ali al-Jifri spoke as part of the Muhammed: Master of Change campaign organised by the Radical Middle Way in the United Kingdom. Habib Ali visiting nine cities in 10 days, including St. Philip’s Centre, a Church in the city of Leicester that is well renowned for its extensive interfaith work and which is located next to the Umar ibn al-Khattab Mosque. The lecture was on the lessons to be learnt from the life of the Prophet Jesus, peace and blessings be upon him, on being a good neighbor and coexistence.
