The Etiquettes of Discourse and Disagreement

“Call to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and good admonition, and argue with them in the ways that are best.” (Surah al-Nahl v. 125)

In this lecture, Shaykh Faraz reminds us that the purpose of dawah and discourse is to call people to Allah (the most exalted) alone. This entails following the Prophetic character by exhibiting wisdom, mercy, and sincere concern. Lastly, he mentions the importance of avoiding arguments and dealing with disagreements when they arise.
